Cultivating your 'Inner Smile'
Yoga can help you shine - from the inside out.
This Yoga exercise helps you self-manage moods. With practice you can generate the 'feel good' factor at will.
Bring to mind an image of your favourite place in nature, a tree or landscape, or imagine the scent of your favourite flower. Notice how you feel as you stay with either the image or scent. Begin to imagine an inner smile developing - growing inside of you - a warm, glowing feeling that spreads molecules of happiness throughout your whole body. Breathe deeply and take a minute to encourage and 'grow' this sensation.
With practice, this exercise can help you shine - from the inside out.
If a broad grin appears on your face - ENJOY.
Can you practice this exercise for 30 seconds each hour? Twice a day would be excellent too!
